We offer Puppy Training starting with puppies 8 weeks old, geared to "nip problems in the bud." As the classes are conducted in safe areas there is no danger to get Parvo or Distemper. These classes are vital for the safe and critical socialization of the puppy. Puppy Training Two for puppies ready for the next level of training. We continue to socialize the young dogs and proof their obedience skills.

Our Leash Lungers Anonymous class is for more aggressive dogs. Aggression is on the rise. It is due to lack of socialization, exercise, bad breeding, impossible demands from uneducated people. Aggression is a normal and usually healthy response to threat. In class we teach you calming signals, stress signals, techniques and how to re-establish limits and boundaries to help your dog refocus on you instead of anything else. We use a technique called BAT or Behavior Adjustment Training. Behavior Adjustment Training, or BAT, uses environmental consequences to reward socially acceptable choices. In a nutshell, BAT gives the dogs a chance to learn to control their environment through peaceful means. It’s very empowering to the dog, in a good way.

BAT uses functional and bonus rewards, combined with clicker training and systematic desensitization to help dogs make better choices in an error-free way.
